During our recent family vacation, we chose Boutique Meraki due to its proximity to the Puntarenas ferry terminal. Given the area's reputation, we anticipated a less-than-inviting locale. Meraki quickly became a pleasant surprise, offering a cozy refuge away from the hustle. The good owner, despite the language barrier, greeted us warmly with a smile that set a welcoming tone right from the start. The staff, especially Justin at the reception, went out of their way to accommodate our needs. When I needed to keep medicine on ice, he was more than happy to help. Lodging was comfortable, although I expected a fridge in our room. The restaurant staff was understanding about my dietary preferences, further ensuring our stay was hassle-free. One day, we explored Caldera Port, and another, we caught the ferry from Puntarenas Pier. Both were enjoyable excursions that perfectly complemented our time at the hotel. Boutique Meraki offers a family-friendly atmosphere that feels like a home away from home.
